The wildfire, originating in Mongolia, has blazed its way into China's Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region in the small hours of Saturday.

The fire has raged over the border area to set ablaze 80 kilometers wide of grasslands.

So far there is no report on casualties or property damages, though the fire has once moved close to two administrative areas in the autonomous region on the Chinese side of the border.
