The army regained control over further Key villages, towns and cities in Damascus, Raqqa, Lattakia, Hama, Aleppo, Deir Ezzur, Homs, Sweida and Idlib provinces pushing back militants from their military positions and strongholds.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured in heavy clashes with the Syrian army and aerial bombardments of Syria's fighter jets.
In Damascus the Syrian Army troops inflicted large casualties on terrorist groups in their continued offensives in the Eastern and Western parts of Damascus province.
"The ISIL defense lines in Eastern Qalamoun were massively raided by the Syrian army men," the army said, adding, "The attack ended in the killing and injuring of many terrorists."
"The army also engaged in fire battle with the militant groups in Harasta al-Qantara in Eastern Ghouta, which left many of the terrorists dead and injured," the army added.
In Raqqa at least 12 ISIS terrorists were killed and several more were wounded as a result of the Russian warplanes' bombardments in the Eastern part of Raqqa province, field sources announced Friday.
"The Russian air fleet carried out several combat sorties over the ISIL strongholds in Ma'adan region and targeted them heavily, which ended in the killing and wounding of many terrorists and destruction of their military hardware," the sources said.
In Lattakia the Syrian Army announced that its soldiers and their popular allies drove the militant groups back from more territories in the mountainous regions of the coastal province of Lattakia after hours of heavy fighting.
"The militant groups withdrew from al-Kalouksi mountains, Katf al-Qamou'a, the villages of al-Qanimeh, al-Qalaye'a, Beit Seker, al-Owyenat and Khan al-Jouz after the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) stormed their positions in the Northern part of Lattakia province," the army said.
"The Syrian army also retook full control over Tal al-Harb al-Electronia in the province," the army added.
"The militant groups left behind scores of the dead and injured members and fled the battlefields," the army went on to say.
Meantime, the Syrian Army announced that its troops alongside popular forces pushed the militant groups back from more territories in the Northern part of Lattakia province, and established full control over more mountains following hours of heavy clashes.
"The Syrian army, the National Defense Forces and other popular fighters imposed full control over the Baradoun Mountains (Jabal Baradoun) after a heavy battle with al-Nusra Front and the Free Syrian Army," the army said.
"Following the capture of the Baradoun Mountains, the Syrian army troops and their allies captured the Baradoun Dam after the militants abandoned their posts to evade more casualties as a result of the Russian fighter jets' attacks that were lurking around Jabal al-Turkmen (Turkmen Mountains)," the army added.
In Hama the Syrian Army announced that its soldiers alongside the popular forces engaged in fierce clashes with the terrorist groups of Ahrar al-Sham, Jeish al-Nassr, Jeish al-Fatah and al-Izza Jama'ah across Hama province, and inflicted major losses on the terrorists.
"The Syrian army and the National Defense Forces targeted gathering centers of Ahrar al-Sham and Jeish al-Nassr in Jabal Shahshabo, which ended in destruction of a depot of weapons and ammunition as well as a number of the militants' vehicles," the army said.
"Jeish al-Fatah' defense lines in the village of Lahaya came under the heavy attack of the Syrian government forces, which left several terrorists killed or wounded," the army said, adding, "Several vehicles of al-Izza Jama'ah terrorist group were also destroyed as a result of the army attack in Latmin North of Hama province."
In Aleppo the Syrian fighter jets carried out several combat flights over ISIL strongholds in the Northern and Eastern parts of Aleppo province and hit them hard, the army said.
"The Syrian air fleet targeted ISIL's gathering centers near the city of al-Bab in the Northern part of Aleppo province, which inflicted major damage on the militants' vehicles," the army said, adding, "The fighter jets also targeted the ISIL movements and sites in Tadif, Ein al-Hahsh, Aran and Kafr Hamra in the Eastern part of the province, ending in destruction of their military equipment."
The Syrian Army and the National Defense Forces repelled an almost large-scale offensive of the ISIL terrorist group North of the capital on Friday.
"Earlier this morning, the ISIL launched an assault on the Syrian army's checkpoints along the Qalamoun-Sadad Road; however, these attacks were eventually repelled by the Syrian soldiers and the NDF," the army said.
"It is actually one of the most important battles taking place in the Western part of the country," the army said.
In Deir Ezzur the Syrian fighter jets, in a fresh round of combat sorties, targeted ISIL's defense lines across the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur, leaving tens of the terrorists dead or wounded, army said Friday.
"The ISIL strongholds near the villages of al-Jaba'a and al-Jenineh were massively bombed by the Syrian warplanes, which claimed the lives of many terrorists and wounded many others," the army announced.
"The Syrian air fleet also targeted the ISIL sites near the neighborhoods of al-Baqaliyeh, al-Sina'ah and workers as well as the village of Ayyash in the Western countryside of the city of Deir Ezzur," the army further added.
"Scores of the ISIL militants were killed or injured in the air attacks near the Eastern city," the army went on to say.
In Homs reports said on Friday that dozens of terrorists have been killed in a Syrian army offensive on ISIL positions in Eastern Homs province.
"The army and the National Defense Forces stormed the ISIL concentration centers near al-Maqale'e and Wadi al-Qaddahat in al-Bayarat in the Central Homs province, killed or wounded many militants and destroyed their military vehicles," the army said.
"The ISIL positions in Tuloul al-Soud and Rahoum in the Eastern part of the province came under the heavy attacks of the Syrian government forces, which ended in the killing and wounding of several militants and destruction of their weapons and equipment," the army added.
In Sweida the Syrian Army troops stormed ISIL's concentration centers in the Northeastern countryside of Sweida city, killed many terrorists and inflicted major losses on their military grid.
The ISIL positions near the village of al-Qassr came under heavy attacks of the Syrian army men, leaving a heavy death toll on the terrorists.
The ISIL strongholds' infrastructures sustained major damage and at least three military vehicles, equipped with heavy machineguns, were destroyed in the attacks.
In Idlib scores of terrorists, including two senior field commanders of Jeish al-Fatah and Ahrar al-Sham, were killed in the Syrian Army attacks in the Southern part of Idlib province, military sources said Friday.
"Over 20 terrorists of Jeish al-Fatah, including their commander al-Sheikh Ghali, were killed as a result of the Syria arm's offensive near the village of Hzano in the Northwestern province of Idlib," the sources said.
"In the meantime, Hassan Barabo, an Emir within Ahrar al-Sham military ranks, was killed by the Syrian soldiers near the village of Kafr Oweid in the Western side of Maarat al-Mu'man," the sources further added; FNA reported.
