In a report the United Nations has announced that just in 2015 500 children have been killed and wounded in Iraqi conflict.
The United Nations announced on Thursday the killing and wounding of about 500 children as a result of the ongoing conflicts in Iraq during the current year.
The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jan Kubis and UNICEF representative in Iraq, Peter Hawkins said in a joint statement: “The continuing conflict in Iraq caused heavy losses in the lives of the most vulnerable citizens, represented by children.”
