Jordanian Police Killed and Injured 4 US Contractors in Training Center

A Jordanian police officer opened fire Monday on American contractors at a police training center, killing two and injuring 2 Us trainer, according to Al-Rai governmental owned newspaper.In this incident a South African trainer killed and four Jordanians were wounded.

It is reported that shooting took place on the outskirts of the capital, Amman and Security agencies have launched an investigation. It’s not clear whether the shooting was intentional, Al-Rai reported.

Jordanian officials and the US Embassy in Jordan had no immediate comment.

Also he shot killed a South African trainer before being shot dead.

State Minister for Media Affairs and the government spokesman Mohammad Momani told the state news agency Petra that two Americans and four Jordanians were wounded in Monday's shooting at the police training center on the outskirts of the Jordanian capital, adding that one of the wounded is in critical condition.

Momani portrayed the shooting as a crime and said an investigation has been launched.
