According to Al-Alam News Network, critics claim that the aim of this enormous “bribe” was to impose Saudi Arabia’s political views on the indebted and subordinate Arabic countries.
According to Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadh”, on the basis of International Monetary Fund experts’ analyses, Egypt is at the top of these countries that received grants from Saudi Arabia. From January 2011 to April 2014, this country received $6.5 billion from Saudi Arabia.
Yemen's ousted government received $3.8 billion and Jordan $3 billion, respectively ranked the second and third. Bahrain ($2.8 billion), Oman ($2.8 billion), Palestinian Authority ($1.8 billion), Morocco ($1.6 billion), Sudan ($527 million), and Djibouti ($68 million) are among the other Arabic countries who received money from Saudi Arabia.
This report and the same statistics reveal the major cause of the Arabic countries adherence to Saudi Arabia in violation against Yemeni people.
