Iran Deal Threatens Israel's Existence, Netanyahu Told Obama

Binyamin Netanyahu has told Barack Obama that Israel “vehemently opposes” the framework nuclear deal reached between world powers and Iran, Guardian reports

The plan “threatened Israel’s existence”, he said..The White House said the US president called the Israeli prime minister to discuss the agreement reached with Iran to limit its nuclear programme.

But Netanyahu, who was about to convene senior ministers on Friday to discuss the deal, said in a statement after the conversation: “A deal that is based on this framework will threaten Israel’s existence ... The alternative is to stand firmly and increase pressure on Iran until a better deal is reached.”
