The Yemeni army arrested a Saudi pilot after bringing down a hostile fighter jet in the capital, Sana'a, FNA reports.
According to al-Manar, the Saudi pilot was arrested while staging air raids against people in the area of Bani Ziad, North of Sana'a.
ANADOLU AGENCY today reporting that "Anti-rocket defense systems shot down a plane in northern Sanaa and captured its Sudanese pilot," one of the sources told AA on Saturday, but Sudan on Saturday denied reports that a Sudanese plane has been shot down by Houthi militants in Yemen.
The Sudan army spokesman said Sudan is ready to send 6,000 troops to participate in a possible ground operation against the Houthis.

Sudan on Thursday announced its participation in a Saudi-led offensive against Yemen's Houthis, which began with a string of airstrikes late Wednesday.
Yemeni army also brought down a Saudi surveillance aircraft over the West of Sana'a on Friday.
The US Air Force claims it rescued two Saudi pilots Friday after they ejected from their F-15 fighter jet over the Gulf of Aden during operations against Yemen, NBC reported.
The Saudi-led coalition jets resumed their attacks in Sana'a and Sa'ada, with Yemeni forces repelling them with anti-aircraft weapons.
While Saudi led-airstrike in third day continues, Members of Ansarullah revolutionary movement and Yemeni army continue marching against Al-Qaeda and Saudi-backed forces in the Northern, Eastern and Southern parts of Yemen.
The Ansarullah fighters have particularly made remarkable advances in Southern Yemen.
Meantime, fierce clashes are still underway between Ansarullah fighters and forces loyal to fugitive Yemeni President Mansour Hadi near Aden airport.
In other part of the country Yemeni Army Expels Al-Qaeda Terrorists from Noaman and Lodr.
The Yemeni army and the popular fighters flushed out al-Qaeda terrorists from al-Noaman in Bijan-Shabwa province and Lodr in Abyan province.
