Israeli Forces killed Palestinian Teen in West Bank

Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian teenager Friday in a clash with protesters near the West Bank city of Ramallah, Palestinian medical officials and security sources told AFP.

They named the dead youth as Orwa Hammad, 17, and said he was shot in the village of Silwan, a regular Friday flashpoint near Ofer Israeli military facility.

Also in the day Palestinian youths clash with Israeli forces in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) and West Bank.

Minor clashes erupted near Jerusalem's Old City on Friday while Friday prayers were taking place by intensified restriction at Muslim holy site.

Israeli forces fired teargas at Palestinian protesters to disperse them and several protesters were arrested.

Israel deployed force in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) Friday for weekly Muslim prayers and restricted access to al-Aqsa mosque, after a deadly Palestinian car accident sent tensions soaring.

Nightly clashes have broken out since a Palestinian rammed his car into a crowd of Israelis on Wednesday and then shot dead by Israeli forces.

The security presence was boosted across East al-Quds including the Old City after the confrontations between israeli forces and Palestinians.

Palestinian men under the age of 40 were not allowed into Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa mosque compound for Friday prayers.

The compound in East al-Quds is the scene of frequent clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces.

Prayers concluded on Friday afternoon with minor clashes in the Wadi Joz neighborhood north of the Old City, where Palestinians demonstrating and Israeli forces dispersed them and arrested many demonstrators.

Undercover police from within the crowd of Palestinians carried out the arrests.

There were also clashes in east Jerusalem's Issawiya neighborhood, where Zionist forces fire bursts of tear gas to break up a crowd of Palestinians who marching on the streets.

Around 8,000 people took part in prayers at Al-Aqsa, with hundreds of others in areas around the site.

Overnight Thursday, two Palestinians were arrested during clashes in the Old City.

Violence pitting Palestinians against Israeli forces has shaken occupied east Jerusalem on an almost daily basis since the murder of a Palestinian teenager by Jewish extremists in July.Clashes intensified during a 50-day war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

Silwan a densely populated Arab neighborhood on a steep hillside just south of the Old City has been the focus of Palestinian anger over Jewish settlements in east Jerusalem.

Clashes also broke out in the West Bank city of Hebron. Elsewhere in Hebron, Hamas supporters held a demonstration against Zionist.
