Zionist media outlets announced further announced on Wednesday that five rockets landed southern Tel Aviv, wounding nine settlers. "An Israeli helicopter moved a number of wounded soldiers to a hospital in Ashkelon," press reports said.
The resistance movement of Hamas also asserted on Friday that its forces killed "at least" 10 Zionist soldiers after targeting an Israeli infantry unit with explosives in eastern Beit Hanoun.
It said in a statement that its fighters had led an infantry unit of 15 Israeli soldiers into an ambush in the area.
The Israeli army also announced that one of its soldiers was killed in Gaza on Friday.
