(irna) -- The public session of Syria peace talks will be held on Friday.
The two-day Astana talks will focus on creating the fourth de-escalation zone in Idlib, a city in northwest of Syria.
Along with Iranian, Russian and Turkish delegations, representatives of the Syrian government and the opposition groups, United Nations (UN) Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura and the observer states are attending the Astana talks.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari is leading the Iranian delegation at the Syria negotiations.
According to the media reports, experts of Iran, Russia and Turkey as three initiators of the December 30 ceasefire in Syria reviewed Wednesday all aspects of creating the fourth de-escalation zone in the northwestern Syrian city of Idlib.
During the fourth round of Syria talks held on May 4, the three peace guarantors in the country signed an agreement on setting up safe zones in Syria.
Since March 2011, Syria has been suffering from unrest and the country has been the scene of terrorist acts.
