Iraqi Forces Retake Mosul after Fighting ISIL Militants in Final Battle

Iraqi forces claim the destruction of the so-called ISIL caliphate after retaking Mosul’s wrecked al-Nuri mosque and managed to secure a great victory that they have been perusing since they launched a large-scale offensive to restore control over the city on 17 October 2016.
