Alalam -- Saeed Karimian, the owner of GEM Group and GEM TV was murdered at his Istanbul office in Turkey.
Details about the circumstances surrounding his murder are scarce, but it’s reported that he’s been murdered after being hit by 27 bullets. Some sources are reporting that he’s been killed in his car.
No one has accepted responsibility for his killing yet. One person accompanying him has apparently been killed.
GEM TV is a group of Persian-language entertainment satellite channels. Its headquarters is located in Dubai. GEM Television commenced work in 2006, owned and managed by GEM Group ("General Entertainment and Media Group").
