The Syrian army forces engaged in intense clashes with the terrorists in al-Jafrah village in Southeast Deir Ezzur, regions near Panorama region South of Deir Ezzur, along with the Eastern wall of Deir Ezzur airbase and in al-Jabiliya, al-Roshdiyeh, al-Hawiqa, al-Sana'a, al-Rasafa, al-Baliqiya, Northwest of Tal Barouk, al-Janinah and al-Hosseiniyeh regions, destroying their command centers and armored vehicles; FNA reported.

The army's artillery units also targeted the ISIL moves and gathering centers in these regions, smashing the terrorists' weapons cache near Deir Ezzur airbase and killing tens of militants.

Meantime, the Syrian fighter jets launched airstrikes against the ISIL hideouts near Deir Ezzur airbase and Jabal al-Thardah which killed and wounded several terrorists.

In a relevant development on Tuesday, the Syrian army troops and fighter jets pounded ISIL's concentration centers in different regions in Deir Ezzur, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

The army soldiers clashed fiercely with ISIL militants in the village of al-Jafrah Southeast of Deir Ezzur city and areas surrounding Panorama district on Southern side of the city and East of Deir Ezzur's military airport, killing and wounding a number of militants.

The army's artillery units also targeted ISIL's positions in Panorama and near al-Tim oilfield and the power station.

The army aircraft meantime carried out several combat sorties over ISIL's centers in al-Thardah mountain adjacent to Deir Ezzur airbase and the village of al-Jafrah, killing a number of terrorists.
