PKK Claims its Female Militias Killed 160 Turkish Soldiers

The female command of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) claimed in a statement released that in the year 2016 alone, it had killed 160 Turkish military soldiers.

The statement also said that the PKK would continue to “proceed the struggle during the new year for a life of freedom and until victory is achieved.”

The group is recognized as a terrorist organization in Turkey and many Western countries.

Their primary aims is for the independence of a Kurdistan state within the Kurdish dominated areas of Turkey.
