ALALAM – Syria
The Russian warplanes targeted the night-time movements of the ISIS terrorists in Aqayrabat region and meantime pounded their supply lines connecting Eastern Badiyeh (desert) in Hama to the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur) in Homs.
The army's artillery units for their part shelled al-Islamiyeh Front's movements in the Western countryside of al-Salamiyah town in Hama.
The army's missile units shelled terrorists' positions in the village of Khneifes, while other units of the army repelled terrorists' attack on their positions along al-Salamiyah-Homs road.
The artillery units also targeted the movements and concentration centers of the terrorists in the towns of Kafr Zita and al-Latamina, killing a number of militants and destroying their vehicles.
Also, Syrian and Russian fighter jets targeted a long supply convoy of ISIL terrorists' vehicles on a road in a region in Hama as it was heading towards Palmyra last week, inflicting major losses on the militants.
The warplanes hit ISIS military-supply column that left the terrorist group's base in Aqayrabat region in Badiyeh (desert) in Hama - where the desert path leads to Palmyra in Eastern Homs - leaving a number of militants dead and the convoy's vehicles destroyed.
In the meantime, the Russian and Syrian aircraft pounded the gatherings of Fatah al-Sham Front (previously known as the al-Nusra Front) in farms near the town of Kafr Zita, in the town of al-Latamina and its surroundings and in al-Zawar region, killing and wounding a number of militants and destroying their equipment, FNA reported.
