According to Al-Masdar the Syrian Arab Army targeted Jaysh Al-Islam and Faylaq Al-Rahman's gathering points near the farms of Hawsh Dawahra, resulting in the death of several enemy combatants.

With heavy losses sustained, Jaysh Al-Islam and Faylaq Al-Rahman were forced to flee the area in order to avoid anymore casualties.

Recently, Jaysh Al-Islam, Faylaq Al-Rahman, and Jaysh Al-Fustat ended their bitter year-long civil war in the East Ghouta after all parties suffered several setbacks along the battlefront with the Syrian Arab Army.
