“Security forces managed to foil the attempt of ISIS to sneak into the district of Samarra, in southern Salahuddin Province,” Al-Sumaria reported.
The report continued by saying that “The security forces were able to kill all the militants, including two suicide bombers.”
“The incident also resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of police officers and the guard of Salahuddin MP Sheikh Kamel Abbas,” Al-Sumaria added.
