The Syrian army and militias destroyed terrorists located near Harasta, one of the outposts of insurgents near Damascus, and continue to encircle the city, an opposition source told RIA Novosti on Thursday.
"In the past 24 hours, our forces eliminated terrorists entrenched near Harasta, and took over several farms in its outskirts. The offensive is ongoing amid powerful fire support. Militants of the Jaysh al-Islam group are resisting fiercely," the source said, Sputnik reported.
