A convoy of trucks, carrying tanks and military vehicles, was seen on the road in the southeastern Gaziantep province of Turkey on Thursday, Al-Alam News Network reports.
Turkey’s state-run Anadolu agency said the convoy was heading to Silopi in Sirnak province, near Turkey’s border with Iraq and Syria.
On Tuesday, Turkish Defense Minister Fikri Isik said the country was making preparations for “all kinds of possibilities.”
