The Iraqi Ministry of defence, released a video late on Sunday said to show Iraqi fighter jets targeting ISIS (ISIL , IS , Daesh) hideouts in Tikrit.
An Iraqi Ministry of Defence statement said its airforce had inflicted heavy losses on ISIS group terrorists and equipment.
There was no indication when the footage was shot.
The Iraqi government is carrying a wide-scale operation to recapture Mosul, almost 300 kilometres north of Tikrit, and is under the control of the ISIS group.
