The operation to liberate ISIS-held Mosul, Iraq's second largest city, has begun.
Iraqi forces are making headway in their operation to retake the city of Mosul from Daesh terrorists.
Troops have now launched an operation to retake the strategic town of Tal Afar.
Fighting also continues on other fronts near Mosul.
