Led by Syrian Republican Guard and Liwaa Al Quds (Palestinian paramilitary), the Syrian Armed Forces launched a powerful attack at the Busta
Al-Basha District's central neighborhoods, striking Fatah Halab's positions at several buildings.
According to a military source, the Syrian Armed Forces still have control on approximately 40 percent of this district; however, the “Islamist rebels” are attempting to reestablish their presence in the southern neighborhoods after losing much of Bustan Al-Basha during the first week of the assault.
Meanwhile, northeast of Bustan Al-Basha, the Syrian Armed Forces made their first push towards the Hanano Youth Housing Complex; this resulted in a fierce battle at the southern outskirts of Tal Al Asfar.
Intense clashes are still being reported outside the Hanano Youth Housing Complex, as the Syrian Armed Forces continue their onslaught in northeast Aleppo.
