According to Syrian Army commander in the field all three point lost to militant groups have been fully recaptured.

Militant groups repeatedly attack Army checkpoints in the plain area stretching from the northern countryside of Homs to the sough of the government-held city of As-Salamiyah.

Less than two weeks ago, Ahrar al-Sham militants took over al-Shakarah checkpoint after a blitz attack, only to lose it a few hours later with huge reinforcement pouring from As-Salamiyah.

Syrian military forces, backed up by Syrian and Russian fighter jets, beat back the terrorist groups from the Northern and Northeastern sides of Taybat al-Imam and captured a strategic height after hours of non-stop battle.

The Syrian soldiers inflicted a heavy death toll on the militants and captured al-Soudeh hill.

Several tanks, machinegun-equipped vehicles, an arms depot, and Jeish al-Izza command center were destroyed and at least 80 terrorists were killed in joint air raids of the Syrian and Russian fighter jets over militants' positions in al-Latamina, Taybat al-Imam, Maan, Atshan, al Kabariyeh, al Qahirah, Skeik, Kawkab, Karrah, Wadi Hossein, Tal Bazan, Lawkab, Zita, Zeilaqiyat, Arafah, al-Hazm, Qasr Ali, al-Talisiyeh, Ab al-Khazneh and the farms near the village of al-Balil and Tal al-Karam.
