Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov has said Monday that the Syrian opposition has consolidated its alliance with the militant group known as Jabhat Fatah al-Sham, formerly the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front.
IN a conference hosted by the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency on Monday Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov has said:
He noted that the "merging into each other, and many of them moving into Nusra's ranks…does not ease the situation."
“The fact that the opposition has strengthened its alliance with Nusra is becoming increasingly evident to us.” Sputnik reported.
