Six people have been stabbed in an attack on Tremont Street in Boston’s Theater District early Sunday, local media said. Police told media one suspect is still at large, while they may have apprehended a second one.

Emerson College warned that the two suspected criminals could be at large and urged students to report any "suspicious activity". Police said one of the attackers was among the wounded but officers were still looking for the second one.

One victim was critically injured and is in emergency surgery, according to the Boston Globe

Boston Police Superintendent Bernard O’Rourke said the suspect fled in the direction of Charles Street South, RT reported.
