Field sources said more than 150 terrorists were killed and dozens of others were wounded during the operations which also smashed the militants' armored vehicles, equipped with machine guns.
After starting their operations in Marradas town, the Syrian army and resistance forces fully purged the Western parts of the town following intense clashes with Jund al-Aqsa terrorists.
"Now they are continuing the cleansing operations in the Eastern parts of the town concurrent with which the resistance forces' missile and artillery fire is pounding the militants' positions in the countryside of the town and its Eastern parts, killing tens of terrorists so far," sources said on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the Syrian air force heavily pounded the gathering centers and fortifications of Jeish al-Fatah terrorist group in the Northern part of Hama province, inflicting heavy losses on them.
At least three military bases, four vehicles and seven machinegun-equipped military vehicles of the terrorist groups were destroyed in Marradas, Souran, Halfaya, al-Tamaneh and Northern part of Ma'an as well as Bazam hilltop and Nahr al-Assi.
Meantime, the Syrian army and popular forces repelled an attempt by terrorists to attack the two towns of Ma'an and Kefra'a in the Northern Hama, inflicting heavy losses on them in immediate counterattacks.
Over 30 terrorists were killed and many more wounded in fierce clashes with the Syrian army in the battle with the Syrian army and popular forces.
Elsewhere, other army units also thwarted an attack by terrorists on the village of Jubain, killing over 65 militants.
Three tanks, a BMP vehicle and four machine-gunned vehicle were also destroyed in the Syrian army counterattack in Northern Hama, FNA reported.
