A sword is held in place on his wrist before a terrorist brings a hammer down on the blade repeatedly until his hand is hacked off.

Crowds of men and boys can be seen watching the punishment being meted out after his crimes were read out over a loud speaker.

According to Terror Monitor, the brutal sentence was imposed by the ISIS-affiliated Khalid Bin al-Walid army in Syria.
