The Syrian soldiers stormed positions of terrorist groups and took back the heights of al-Samam and the small town of al-Hajameh in the Northern side of the town of Qamhaneh.
In the meantime, one of the commanders of Jund al-Aqsa was killed in Syrian air attacks in Taybat al-Imam.
Heavy fighting is underway near the town of Souran.
Also on Sunday, Syrian Army troops repelled the terrorist groups’ attacks on government forces’ positions along two key roads in Northern Hama, killing at least 40 militants and wounding many more.
Terrorists struck government positions along Skeik-Ma’an and al-Swan-al-Kbariyeh roads, but their attacks were fended off by the Syria soldiers.
Five machinegun-equipped vehicles, town armored vehicle and tank were destroyed by Syrian soldiers in the failed attacks.
Terrorists’ positions in East of Morek, to the West of Kafr Zita, Shaheshbou Mountain and Atshan, in the surroundings of Souran, to the North and West of Ma’an, Tal Bazam and Tal Hwair were bombed heavily by the Syrian fighter jets.
4 tanks, two rocket launchers, ten vehicles equipped with machineguns were destroyed and several terrorists were killed in the airstrikes; FNA reported.
