Turkey says receiving 'positive signals' from US on Gulen extradition, AFP reports.

The Turkish president Erdogan is calling on the United States to choose between Turkey or FETO, an acronym for what Ankara calls the " Gulen Terror Group ".

Erdogan was talking about US-based Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen who Ankara believes organised last month’s attempted coup in Turkey.

Turkey said Friday it has received "positive signals" from the United States on the request to extradite Pennsylvania-based preacher Fethullah Gulen whom it accuses of ordering last month's attempted coup.

"We have started to receive some positive signals on the calls we have made" for Gulen's extradition, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told reporters in Ankara, saying further documents relating to the case for his deportation were being drawn up to send to Washington.
