The Syrian army backed by popular forces continued their military operations against the terrorist groups, inflicted heavy losses on them over the past 24 hours.

Damascus
Syrian Army troops and popular forces stormed terrorists’ positions South and North of Darayya in Southwestern Damascus to complete siege of the town after the terrorists killed several civilians.

In a retaliatory move, the Syrian government forces struck strongholds of terrorist groups near Darayya and al-Mo'adhamiyeh and cut off their communication routes with their comrades in other territories of Western Ghouta.

Regardless of the truce agreement with the Syrian government, militants in Darayya and al-Mo'adhamiyeh violated ceasefire several times and killed a number of civilians.

The Syrian army is resolved to take back Darayya first and then storm al-Mo'adhamiyeh.

Reports said earlier on Saturday that Syrian military forces struck the terrorists' strongholds in Western Ghouta and pushed the militants back from more building blocks near two key towns following hours of non-stop battle.

The Syrian soldiers launched new round of attacks on terrorists' concentration centers in a region between Darayya and al-Mo'adhamiyeh and captured several residential complexes and at least fifty houses.

Terrorists suffered a heavy death toll and pulled the remaining pockets of forces back from the battlefront.

Aleppo
Latest developments in the town of Manbij indicated that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), mainly comprised of Kurdish fighters, were about to push ISIS back from its positions and capture the remaining districts of Manbij in coming hours, military sources said Saturday.

"The SDF fighters are about to prevail over ISIS defense lines in Central Manbij after winning back a key neighborhood this morning," informed sources said.

"After seizure of al-Kajli neighborhood, the SDF fighters have stormed ISIL's positions from Southwestern part of the town and are nearing to enter Central Manbij," the sources said.

"Al-Bazar bridge has also been captured by the SDF fighters," the sources said, adding, "The bridge connects al-Kajli to al-Na'eimi neighborhood. The SDF combatants have launched new waves of offensives to capture al-Na'eimi neighborhood too."

"Tough battle is underway between ISIL and SDF in al-Jazeerah square in al-Na'eimi neighborhood," they added.

"SDF fighters saved over 60 civilians captured by ISIL in al-Kajli," the sources went on to say.

"The SDF launched large-scale counter-attacks on ISIL's defense lines and recaptured at least six villages and their surrounding regions Northwest of Manbij, leaving over 100 militants dead and many more wounded," they said.

"The SDF fighters, who had a tactical pulling back of forces, stormed ISIL's vulnerable positions and took back the villages of al-Bouyer, Mashirjeh al-Bouyer, Eilan, Dandaniyeh, Bouzkij and Daadat," they went on to say.

"ISIL left behind over 100 dead members, including a top commander and official in charge of heavy weapons named Abu Soleiman Mesri and pulled back its fighter from the region," sources said.

"In the meantime, the SDF beat ISIS terrorists back from one more neighborhood in the town of Manbij in Northeastern Aleppo and launched mop-up operation to hunt the remaining pockets of militants," they added.

The SDF fighters pushed ISIL back from al-Kajli neighborhood.

Sources also added that ISIS suffered a heavy death toll and left behind its military hardware under the SDF's heavy attacks and retreated from the neighborhood.

"The SDF have opened a safe route connecting Manbij's districts to safer destinations outside the town and transferred a large number of civilians to regions under their control," Kurdish sources said.

"Over 1,500 civilians, mostly children and women, have been evacuated by the SDF combatants from the war-hit town," the sources confirmed.

"The SDF fighters were accompanying the groups of civilian to protect them against ISIS attacks," they added.

Sweida
A long convoy of ISIL vehicles came under the heavy attacks of the Syrian army troops in Northeastern Sweida, provincial sources said on Saturday, adding that the attacks inflicted major damage on the column.

"Several members of the ISIS were killed or wounded and at least four of their heavy machinegun-equipped vehicles were damaged in the Syrian army's assault near the village of al-Qassar.

Lattakia
Tens of non-Syrian terrorists have been killed or wounded by Syrian Army-planted landmines and explosive traps while crossing Turkey's border into Northern Lattakia, battlefield sources said on Saturday.

"Dozens of terrorists from Chechnya and Turkistan, recruited and trained in Turkey, have been killed in the recent days by the Syrian army's landmines in Northern Lattakia," the sources said.

"In the meantime, the Syrian army's artillery units have traced and shelled heavily terrorists' heavy weapons and vehicles in the mountainous region near the border with Turkey," the sources added.

Reports said earlier on Saturday that the Syrian Army troops fended off terrorists groups' offensive to prevail over government forces' positions in Northern Lattakia, inflicting major casualties and losses on the militants.

The terrorists groups suffered a heavy death toll and their military hardware sustained major damage after their attacks on the army strongholds in Tal al-Zoweiqat near Kinsibba failed due to the strong defense of the Syrian military forces.

The Syrian artillery units and fighter jets played a crucial role in pushing terrorist back from the battlefields and meantime targeted terrorists' positions near the town of al-Hayat and al-Sarraf.

Hama
Syrian warplanes launched a fresh round of air attacks on ISIS gatherings in the Northern, Southern and Eastern parts of Hama province, inflicting tens of casualties on the militants.

ISIL's positions in al-Latamina, Morek and the village of Skeik in Northern Hama were massively bombed by the Syrian jets, while the Takfiri terrorists' strongholds in Hirbnafsa in Southern Hama and Kalib al-Thor near al-Salamiyah were also targeted by the Syrian bombers.
