"At least 12 militants were killed and several more were wounded in the Syrian air attack on ISIL's gatherings in al-Sha'er energy-rich region," the sources said, adding, "In the meantime, the Syrian jets targeted again ISIL's defense lines near the village of Howeisis in Jubb al-Jarrah, which ended in destruction of their military equipment, weapons and ammunition." 

In relevant developments in the same region on Sunday, the Syrian air force destroyed ISIS military bases and armored vehicles near the strategic al-Sha'er oilfield and to the East of Jubb al-Jarrah in Eastern Homs.

The Syrian fighter jets hit hard the military positions and vehicles of the Takfiri terrorists in the surrounding areas of Howeisis and near al-Sha'er oilfield.

The ISIL's military positions were also annihilated in Jubb al-Jarrah region.

Scores of ISIS militants were killed and wounded in the Syrian fighter jets' raids on their positions.

The Syrian airstrikes comes in order to pave the way for Syrian army's advances in al-Sha'er oilfield region, FNA reported.
