Abu al-Hayjaa, head of the ISIS Hisba police force and four of his escorts have been killed in clashes with SDF fighters in Manbij city north of Aleppo
The SDF confirmed that Abu al-Hayjaa was killed along with dozens of other ISIS terrorists in an offensive by the SDF-led Manbij Military Council inside the city of Manbij, near the border with Turkey.
“Subsequent to fierce clashes with ISIS terrorrist group, our forces captured the Hatabat district in Manbij city on Wednesday,” reported a spokesman for the SDF.
“Al-Hisba chief Abu al-Hayjaa and four of his escorts were killed in the clashes. Also, over 27 other ISIS terrorists were killed under heavy bombardment by our forces,” the official said; Abna reported.
