A massive explosion has stripped through a residential neighborhood close to the Egyptian capital city of Cairo, with no immediate reports of casualties or possible damage available.
Witnesses, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the blast took place on Tahrir Street in al-Doqi neighborhood of the city of Giza, located on the west bank of the Nile and some 20 kilometers (12.43 miles) southwest of central Cairo.
