Jeish al-Islam's offensive on its rivals took several hours and ended in the killing or wounding of several terrorists from both sides.

Jeish al-Islam launched mop-up operation in the region and fortified its newly-captured positions.

Two members of Faylaq al-Rahman were also captured by Jeish al-Islam. 

In Relevant development in the province on earlier this week, the ISIL terrorists stormed the strongholds of their rival group of al-Nusra Front in the Palestinian Yarmouk refugee camp in the Southern countryside of the capital and drove them back from a main street of the camp.

The ISIS targeted the al-Nusra Front's strongholds around Ja’ouneh Street, Haifa Street and the Palestine Roundabout and killed or injured several al-Nusra militants.

The ISIS reportedly seized part of Haifa Street from al-Nusra after hours of fierce clashes, FNA reported.
