The Syrian air force launched airstrikes against the ISIS headquarters East of the strategic city of Maheen, Southeast of Homs province.
The Thursday airstrikes killed and wounded tens of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles, weapons and ammunitions.
Earlier today, the Syrian warplanes carried out several sorties in different parts of Homs targeting the ISIS positions which killed and wounded dozens of terrorists.
A series of sorties were carried out by the Syrian air force targeting ISIS Takfiri terrorists’ sites in al-Qaryatayn city in the Southeast of Homs city, destroying militants' strongholds, weapons and ammunition and killing tens of them.
More ISIS positions were destroyed, along with their vehicles equipped with machineguns, in army airstrikes in the villages of Um Sahreej, al-Shendakhiyeh al-Janoubiyeh, al-Shendakhiyeh al-Shamaliyeh, al-Msheirfeh al-Janoubiyeh, Unq al-Hawa and in the Eastern parts of Jeb al-Jarrah town.
Also on Wednesday, the ISIS strongholds in the Southeastern parts of Homs province were heavily bombed by the Syrian fighter jets, the army announced, adding the attacks inflicted major losses on the terrorists.
The Syrian Air Force carried out several combat sorties over the ISIS lines of defense and concentration centers near the ancient Assyrian town of Qaryatayn and the village of Mahasa and targeted them badly, which not only left several militants dead or wounded but also ended in the destruction of their weapons, vehicles and ammunition; FNA reported.
