In Homs the Syrian army clashed with ISIL terrorists on the outskirts of Quaryatayn town Southeast of Homs province on Tuesday.

Scores of militants were killed and injured in fierce clashes with the Syrian troops near Quaryatayn.

Meantime, the Syrian air force pounded the military positions and gathering centers of the terrorists in Tir Ma'ala and al Ghajar towns in the Northern parts of Homs province, inflicting heavy losses on them.

Also in Northern Homs, the Syrian army killed and injured a large number of terrorists in tough battle with them in the outskirts of Talbiseh town.

The Syrian army and the popular forces continued to push back the ISIL militants from their positions in the Southeastern parts of Homs province and took back three key heights following intense battle with the terrorists.

The Syrian army alongside the National Defense Forces and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party stormed the ISIL concentration centers and imposed full control over the Heights of 901, 903, 912 near the small hilltop village of Tar al Kharoubah in the surroundings of the ancient Assyria town of Quaryatayn.

Reports said earlier that the Syrian army heavily pounded ISIL positions near al Bayarat East of Palmyra.

Sources on the ground said the Syrian Army forces, backed by popular forces, destroyed a number of ISIL's military vehicles and managed to inflict heavy damage on terrorists' hardware near the occupied city of Palmyra (Tadmur), East of Homs province.

The pro-government forces also kept marching on terrorists' positions near al-Bayarat East of Palmyra occupied by ISIL terrorists since early 2015.

Syrian troops also carried out concentrated operations against dozens of ISIL positions in Minter al-Kharoubah and al Romeilah near Maheen al Quaryatayn road in the Southeastern regions of Homs province, inflicting huge losses on them in the region.

During the operations of Syrian army in the surrounding areas of Hayal mountain and al-Tafha village, scores of militants were killed and several of their positions were destroyed.

Also, in a series of intensive operations in Tir Ma’ala and Talbiseh in Homs' Northern regions, pro-government forces heavily struck at ISIL's positions, putting a number of terrorists there to death.

In Hama Syrian Air force jets, in an intensive operation, heavily bombarded militants' positions in several towns across the Northern regions of Hama province, sources on the ground said on Tuesday.

The sources said scores of militants were taken out in the surgical aerial attacks, during which many structures and vehicles of the militants were razed in the targeted areas.

The airstrikes were conducted as a follow up to the air raids during the past couple of days over the towns of al Letamenah, Salba, Kafr Zita, Atshan and Sayyid, causing huge damage on the militants' hardware in the region.

In Damascus the Syrian Army has engaged in heavy clashes with different terrorist groups across Eastern and Western Ghouta, near the capital Damascus, on Tuesday, military sources said.

According to the sources on the ground, Syrian soldiers conducted fierce offensives on militants' positions in Tal al-sawwan town in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus province, leaving several militants dead or injured.

In a separate attack in Western Ghouta in the surrounding areas of Khan Sheikh Palestinian refugee camp, dozens of armed militants were killed by the Syrian army soldiers, the sources added.

In Lattakia the Syrian army and popular forces seized back another key town after heavy clashes with the terrorists in Lattakia province on Tuesday.

The army units took full control of the strategic Bashoura town in the Northern part of Lattakia province after fierce clashes with the militants.

Scores of terrorists were killed and injured in the battle with the Syrian army.

The Syrian army and resistance forces tightened their grip on the terrorist groups in the Northeastern parts of Lattakia as Jeish al-Fatah terrorist group's last military bases in the coastal province was on the verge of collapse.

The Syrian forces purged terrorists from the strategic heights of Ziyaret al Beidha, Zahra al Beidar al Mahrouq and Khandaq al-Shahour in Lattakia province.

The army units also took full control of Height 1112 and Height 932 in the suburbs of al-Raqaqieh town to the East of Aku region.

The Syrian army also regained control of al-Hour town, Height 816, Height 529.5, Height 466 and Height 425.5 in the rural areas of Lattakia province.

The army's large-scale military operations in Lattakia province came as other army units are engaged in heavy clashes with the terrorists in Dara'a and Aleppo provinces.

In a relevant development earlier today, the Syrian Army in cooperation with popular forces won back more villages and heights in the Northern parts of Lattakia near the border with Turkey after hours of heavy clashes with the terrorist groups.

The militant groups pulled forces back from their positions near the villages of Dahret al-Baiday al-Mahrouq and Ard al-Kataf, and the hill of Ziyaret al-Beidha under the heavy offensives of the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces.

Scores of the militants were killed or wounded and their military hardware and vehicles were destroyed in the army assaults.

The Syrian government forces have had eye-catching victories in Lattakia in the recent weeks.

In Idlib Syrian Jets carried out an intensive series of airstrikes on Tuesday over militant-held areas in Northwestern Idlib province, inflicting huge losses and damage on the terrorists, military sources said.

"The air raids were conducted over the two towns of Hesh and al Tamanna in the Southern regions of Idlib province, eliminating scores of Jeish al Fatah terrorists and leaving a number of its structures destroyed," the sources said.

Also on Tuesday, the Russian fighter jets targeted a long column of militant vehicles in the Northwestern province of Idlib, inflicting major losses on the convoy.

A long convoy of Jeish al-Fatah's military vehicles, loaded with weapons and ammunition, came under the heavy raid of the Russian air fleet on a road connecting the Eastern part of Idlib to the Western part of Aleppo.

The Syrian army recently has inflicted heavy blows to the militants' active in the Northwestern province, and destroyed an ammunition depot and terminating more than a dozen of militants around the structure.

In Deir Ezzur the Syrian army has intensified operations against militants' positions around the city of Deir Ezzur, and Syrian soldiers who have the support of popular forces are pushing back the ISIL militants to retreat toward the city.

Scores of foreign-backed militants, in a recent operation, were killed or wounded on the outskirts of Deir Ezzur after the Syrian Army shelled their positions and outposts.

The Syrian army and popular forces launched heavy artillery fire on the terrorist camps in al-Janinah town, on the outskirts of Deir Ezzur, killing and injuring several militants.

Also, terrorist headquarters in al-Haviqa and al-Roshdiyah regions came under attack by the Syrian Army's artillery units.

In Aleppo military sources announced minutes ago that the Syrian Army, Hezbollah, the National Defense Forces and several Iraqi paramilitary units launched a large-scale assault on the militant groups' positions in the Northern part of Aleppo province.

"The Syrian government forces stormed the terrorists' defense line in the surroundings of the strategic villages of Bayanoun and Kafr Naya," military sources said.

"The Syrian Armed Forces and their allies launched these attacks on Kafr Naya and Bayanoun after Russian fighter jets pounded the militants' defense lines inside the villages," they further added.

Reports said earlier today that the Syrian warplanes bombed the ISIL concentration camps in several combat flights Northeast of Aleppo province.

The Syrian army's aircrafts pounded the ISIL positions near the villages of Talet al-Shwaya, Rasm al-Alam, al-Tayibeh and Sarjet al-Kabira, which left several militants dead or wounded and inflicted heavy damage on their military grid.

In the meantime, the Syrian army and its popular allies engaged in fierce clashes with the militant groups in the neighborhoods of al-Rashedin4, al-Lairamoun and Bani Zeid in the Aleppo city, which claimed the lives of several terrorists and destroyed their military hardware.

In Dara’a the Syrian Army and the National Defense Forces stormed the militant groups' positions and gathering centers in Northwestern, Northeastern and Eastern parts of Dara'a province, inflicting large casualties on the terrorists.

The militant groups' column of forces, on a road leading to the town of Tafas in the Northwestern part of Dara'a province, was raided by the Syrian army and the NDF.

Scores of the militants were killed or injured in the Syrian government forces' offensive near Tafas.

The government forces also targeted militants' machinegun-equipped vehicles near the town of Khirbet Qazala in the Northeastern territories of Dara'a province.

The town of al-Naima in the Eastern part of Dara'a province was the scene of heavy fighting between the Syrian army and the NDF with the militant groups, which ended in the killing and wounding of many terrorists and destruction of their ammunition depot.

The Syrian troops and their allies are marching on the militants' positions in Southern Dara'a province and have recently scored many victories against militants in different regions in the area; Fars News Agency reported.
