Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif hailed on Tuesday closure of PMD alleged case and said grounds are now well prepared for the expansion of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the IAEA on nuclear related fields.

Zarif welcomed the new resolution issued by the IAEA Board of Governors on terminating PMD which proves peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear activities.

The new resolution put an end to PMD alleged case and the issue is now terminated forever, he said.

International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors on Tuesday unanimously voted in favor of a resolution to close Iran's file.

The file is known as the Possible Military Dimensions (PMD) file and the resolution opens the way for Iran and six world powers (UNSC permanent members plus Germany) to honor their commitments in accordance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
