Also scores of the ISIS terrorists were killed in Salahuddin province as the Iraqi army and popular forces thwarted a large-scale attack by the Takfiris in the province.

The army troops and al-Hashd al-Shaabi forces repelled the ISIS attack in al-Makhoul, and killed tens of Takfiri terrorists.

Earlier reports also said Iraqi security forces repelled large-scale attacks by ISIL terrorists on a district in Baiji city in Salahuddin province, leaving a group of them dead.

Iraqi forces thwarted the ISIL attacks, killed at least 5 militants and destroyed their booby-trapped vehicles on al-Siniyah district in Baiji.
