President Rouhani, meantime, pointed to the status quo of Tehran-Paris relations, and said, "Over the last ten years, both countries have missed numerous opportunities to deepen and develop their relations; now, it is the time to make up for the past."
The French president, for his part, thanked President Rouhani's role in the success of the Vienna nuclear talks, and said, "The French Foreign Minister (Laurent Fabius) is due to visit Tehran to cement bilateral ties and outline a roadmap to deepen the existing relations."
Hollande welcomed practical steps to execute the nuclear deal between Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) and said, 'We can develop our cooperation in energy, oil and aviation sectors."
