The announcement was made in a meeting held following a recent report by the terrorists of ISIS in which they had claimed that the sheiks of Mousel are supporters of the terrorists and fighting against the government of Iraq.
The sheiks held the meeting to exonerate from the terrorist group ISIS.
They said the tribal leaders of Mousel have made false confessions for supporting the terrorists because they had been threatened to be killed by ISIS elements.
Abu Khalid al-Badri, preacher of al-Badri mosque in Neinava province, said, 'Allegiance to ISIS is allegiance to the devil. The criminal group acted against the Islamic laws and made the most heinous crinmes against people.'
Al-Badri added the so-called allegiance of a number of Mosul's sheiks to ISIS "is void because it was made under the shadow of the terrorists' armed threats."
Meanwhile, Ahmad al-Varshan head of the Mosul based Al-hadidi tribe also said that his tribe is ready to support Iraqi forces against the ISIS in Mosul.
He added those who help ISIS terrorists should be killed.
ISIS has recently published certain statements and images, claiming that Mosul's sheiks are supporters of the terrorist group and stand against the Iraqi Army.
