Warplanes struck near the presidential compound in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa around dawn on Friday, residents reported.

The attacks, by a Saudi-led coalition also struck near a military installation in Sanaa, Reuters reports.The airstrikes against Sana’a resumed during the early hours of Friday.

Earlier air strikes south of Sanaa in the early hours of Friday appeared to target military installations affiliated with former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Also reported strike in Marib province destroyed a radar station near Safer oil field residence.

Today the warplanes of the Saudi-led alliance have attacked a popular market in the northwestern Yemeni city of Sa’ada, killing or injuring at least 15 people, according to Yemen’s al-Massira TV on Friday.
