Iraq Foreign Affair Ministry expresses surprise on comments relate to Hujjat al-Islam Ali Younesi President Hassan Rouhani’s adviser on Ethnic and Religious Minorities affairs.

According to AL-ALAM News Network, Iraq Foreign Affair Ministry condemned comments related to Hujjat al-Islam Ali Younesi and added: Iraq is sovereign state, administered by Iraqis and have positive relations with neighbors including Iran but don’t allow any countries interfere in iraq's internal affair.

Hujjat al-Islam Ali Younesi in exclusive interview with AL-ALAM Correspondent said: Never Iran want to damaging neighbors sovereign state and their independence exclusively Iraq and don’t have any will for interferes in neighbors internal affairs.

He indicating his comments in media remembering Iran cultural similarities with Iraq, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan said: I believe with unification between countries in the region we can stop expansionist plans of others countries which are not in the region.

Younesi’s said what I means is cultural, economic and political cooperation between countries in the region (which in the past composed Persian empire) could be instead of past ancient empires.

President Hassan Rouhani’s adviser said: If evils in the region don’t stop, it (ISIS) can spread to whole region.

Hujjat al-Islam Ali Younesi about military cooperation between Iran and Iraq said: Today just Iraqis themselves are fighting with “Daesh” (ISIS / ISIL) and if Iraq want consultation and weapons, we help them. West countries just doing propaganda and in action, do nothing.
