Israel’s spy agency, Mossad, believed and disagreed with Netanyahu that Iran was pursuing a nuclear weapon just a month after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Islamic Republic was a year away from becoming nuclear-armed, IRAN Daily reports.
This was mentioned in a new leak of secret intelligence documents obtained by Al-Jazeera and Guardian.
The documents were written between 2006-2014 by South Africa's State Security Agency (SSA) which cooperating with allies, including Mossad and CIA.
It is not clear what was or is Mossad's view on Iran's nuclear activities.
Meir Dagan, the Mossad chief from 2002 until 2011, has often voiced a differing opinion from that of Netanyahu on how to deal with the Iranian nuclear issue.
