The terrorists captured the town near the US air base in Ain al-Asad last week, but Iraqi forces backed by tribes can liberated most parts of town according to local media.
Police chief Qasim al-Obeidi reported the killings in hope of getting increased support from the international community.
Al-Obeidi also told the BBC that the homes of security officers were under attack, as were the homes of some local Iraqi officials. The Colonel has requested assistance from the Iraqi government and international forces in combating the militants.

The terrorist organization attempted to attack the base last week with a series of suicide bombings but the attack was repelled.
The town of Al-Baghdadi has been the setting of bloody clashes between military and ISIS forces.
The news of 45 people being burned to death comes after ISIS published a video showing the terrorists burning a Jordanian air force pilot alive.
In December, Mouath al-Kasaesbeh's plane crashed in Syria and he was captured by militants.He was held captive before negotiations over his release broke down.
After burning al-Kasaesbeh alive, ISIS did this crime again and again.
