An Israeli police spokeswoman was cited in Friday press reports as saying that the regime’s police forces “carried out searches at the headquarters of the television channel, as part of an investigation into the content of its programs."
"Three employees were arrested, questioned and released," said the spokeswoman, further claiming while "no programs were interrupted,” the investigation “is ongoing."
This is while the Israeli public radio further reported that Israeli authorities suspected Palestine TV of broadcasting "incitements to violence."
A Palestinian media report online said two cameramen and one guest on the channel's "Good Morning Jerusalem" program were taken in by Israeli forces for questioning.
In a separate crackdown on Palestinian media, Israeli soldiers raided the offices of a Palestinian newspaper in the West Bank city of Ramallah on May 28, ordering the daily to halt printing publications by the Hamas resistance movement, managers said.
The development comes following the official establishment of a Palestinian unity government earlier in the week, prompting the outrage of Israeli authorities and their efforts to impose brutal measures to punish Palestinians and further disrupt their functions.
