At dawn on Monday, Israeli bulldozers backed by troops stormed the town of Hizma in East al-Quds and demolished three carwashes, municipal chief Mewafaq al-Khateeb said.
Israeli forces also demolished a horse-breeding facility in the Silwan neighborhood of East al-Quds's Old City.
Israeli municipal authorities impose tight restrictions on the building and renovation of Palestinian homes in East al-Quds.
Israel has launched an aggressive campaign to "Judaize" the holy city with the aim of effacing its Arab and Islamic identity and ultimately driving out its Palestinian inhabitants.
East al-Quds is home to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which to Muslims represents the world's third holiest site.
