According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), an army unit on Monday found a factory used by the foreign-backed militants to manufacture explosives, rocket and mortar shells in Assal al-Ward and al-Matmoura area in al-Qalamoon in Damascus Countryside.

A military source said that an army unit had destroyed a den for the leaders of the armed terrorist groups with all the terrorist inside it in Bab Hud neighborhood in the old city of Homs.

The source added that army units thwarted armed terrorist groups attempts to attack military checkpoints in Tal Amri, al-Meshrefeh, al-Ghasbiyeh, Tal Qatri and Ein al-Dananeer in Homs countryside, killing 40 terrorists and injuring others, among them 5 leaders of the armed groups.

Syrian army units regained control over a number of buildings to the north east of al-Walidiyeh school and schools gathering in Jeb al-Jandali neighborhood, killing and injuring a number of terrorists in the neighborhoods of the old city of Homs.

Syrian troops also inflicted heavy losses on militants in the villages and towns of al-Jdeideh, Tal Refaat, Daret Ezza, the surrounding area of Aleppo central prison, al-Ramouseh, al-Tamoura, al-Hajeb, Koroum, al-Dweihi, Khan al-Asal and Damascus-Aleppo road in Aleppo countryside, destroying heavy machinegun-equipped vehicles.
