"After two days of intensive talks, Iran and world powers reached an agreement on the framework and plan of action for the comprehensive nuclear talks," Abbas Araqchi was quoted as saying by IRNA.
Following the last meeting between Zarif and Ashton on Wednesday evening, Araqchi told IRNA that the two sides reached an agreement and stressed that negotiation was held in a positive atmosphere, but he could not be optimistic yet for future talks progress.
Concerning time and venue of next round of talks between Iran and G 5+1, Araqchi said that the next round will be held on the second half of March in Vienna, Austria.
The deputy foreign minister said that Zarif and Ashton will declare results of the talks in a joint press conference on Thursday morning.
On media and a number of the US officials claims that the issue of Ballistic missiles would be presented in the talks, Araghchi said Iran has declared from the initial phase of talks that our discussion would be in the framework of the Geneva agreement and Iran’s defensive issues are not concluded in the discussions.
Mohammad Javad Zarif and Catherine Ashton in their meeting on Wednesday evening finally determined agenda for the next negotiation.
