Iraqi Afaq TV channel aired a video footage of some captured members of the ISIS terrorist group, admitting to their crimes and ties with Saudi Arabian authorities.

The detainees also confessed that they had transferred arms and explosive-laden vehicles to various destinations.

Among the detainees was the ringleader of the ISIS terrorist group in Karbala and Najaf provinces that has personally conducted several deadly attacks.

He confessed that he had been cooperating with a Saudi military officer named Abu Jasem al-Saudi and received orders from him to carry out terror attacks.

Iraq’s army has recently stepped up its operations against the al-Qaeda-linked terrorists and captured scores of them.

Meanwhile, Iraq’s Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has pledged to eradicate “all terrorist groups” in the country.

The al-Qaeda-linked ISIL overran Falluja and parts of the nearby city Ramadi on January 1 and is still holding its grip on the city, residents and officials say.

Ramadi, the provincial capital of the huge western province of Anbar, is mostly back under the Iraqi government control.
