In an article issued on Sunday, the Jerusalem Post has admired the key role of Adel al-Jubeir as the main contact person in promoting the secret relations of Saudi Arabia and Zionist regimes.
The article also described Jubeir’s role in Riyadh-Tel Aviv secret relations as very constructive and noted that the Saudi diplomat has devoted his time to arranging clandestine meetings with the heads of Jewish organizations in Washington.
Jubeir’s consolidated ties with the heads of Jewish organizations is indicative of a rapprochement between Israel and Saudi Arabia, the article added.
The article also pointed to the close ties between Saudi ambassadors in Washington and the Jewish leaders and noted that former Saudi Ambassador to the US Prince Bandar bin Sultan also had cozy relations with the Zionist lobby in the US.
The article noted that Saudi Arabia is disillusioned with the US following the recent interactions between Tehran and Washington in the course of Iran’s nuclear talks with the world powers and considers it as the White House’s betrayal of Riyadh.
In mid-November, Prince Bandar, who is currently Saudi Arabia’s intelligence chief, reportedly participated at a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and French President Francois Hollande in Israel to discuss the possible improvement of relations between Iran and the United States.
The participants reportedly discussed plans on how to counter Iran’s role in the region and also how to deal with the possible improvement of ties between Tehran and Washington.
